Julian Davenport is a passionate educator who works to serve the needs of all students, regardless of demographics. As a teacher, he emphasizes not only the importance of learning the necessary content, but also developing critical thinking skills. His ultimate goal as an educator is to instill a love of learning in all students, and one of the ways he does this is through the use of project-based learning and hands-on instruction.
Julian’s background is in Education and he holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership. While his expertise in is mathematics, he is well versed in all subject areas and is qualified to address the needs of all students, K-12. Julian has served in various roles- Teacher, Math Coach, Assistant Principal, and Director of Testing. His experience also extends to diagnosing students and developing individual instruction plans that meet the individual needs of the student.
Julian is proficient in both the training and instruction of the Common Core concepts for all subject areas.
In his spare time, Julian enjoys reading, writing, and volunteering at the SPCA.
Jennifer Y. Li
Jennifer Y. Li joined Homework Central as our new tutor staff in summer 2017. She obtained her degree with honor in Accounting and Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology. She has four years of experience in tutoring Calculus, Geometry, Algebra, Statistics, and Accounting. In addition, she is also qualified to teach Mandarin, Chinese and QuickBooks for Accounting.
She was raised in Beijing, China and she speaks Mandarin naturally. She also has tutored Mandarin for two years.
Jennifer Y. Li is passionate about teaching. She considers that the progress of her students is a rewarding experience. She likes to make her lessons approachable and interesting. Her students’ understanding and achievement in the subject of tutoring bring her true satisfaction and happiness.
Dr. Warren Thompson has been a university educator for over 14 years. His teaching experience spans multiple courses in Mathematics, Statistics, and Business across four (4) accredited tertiary institutions including Northern Caribbean University (NCU), Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and Florida State University (FSU). He currently lectures in the College of Business at the American Intercontinental University (AIU) specializing in quantitative business courses such as Strategic Management and Research Methods in Business.
Warren has earned a Master of Science in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from FSU; and, prior to those, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He is currently a Marketing Scientist at AT&T Mobility leading research and analysis efforts to highlight the contribution of media in driving sales for AT&T. He previously worked as a consultant to government and federal agencies such as the CDC, NASA, NIH, among others.
He is a mastermind in math, statistic and other quantitative subjects. He tutors students at all levels, kindergarten all the way to College levels.
He leads a family-centered life: He enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, dad, and five siblings. He is a sports fanatic and is an avid soccer player.
Dr. Felicia Williams is originally from Apopka, Florida. She attended Florida State University and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Education, a Master of Science degree in Statistics and a Doctorate degree in Biostatistics.
She has taught middle school science and high school math for 4 years in Florida. She taught at Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College for 6 years. She was employed by the Florida Department of Education in the Bureau of Postsecondary Assessment where she was a data analyst responsible for all aspects of scoring and reporting of the Florida educator certification exams.
Currently, Dr. Williams is a bio-statistical consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. She enjoys reading and shopping for shoes. And she has 2 children; a little boy who enjoys football and video games and a little girl who enjoys softball and is determined to one day become a detective.
Dale is a graduate student at The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He is a trained engineer, and has profound knowledge in algebra, calculus, physics and chemistry, and other STEM-related subject areas. He has more than three years of tutoring experience, during which time he has developed his own effective methods of teaching. He believes that everyone can be successful in a given classes; with proper practice and hard work. He takes pride in helping young students to succeed, utilizing his best efforts . and techniques.
